America’s 250th Birthday is in less than a month, and the largest operating steam locomotive is chugging its way along the East Coast for the celebration.

Big Boy No. 4014 rolled into Northern Pennsylvania Saturday as part of its tour.

Spectators got to view it in all its glory on the Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct in Wyoming County.

Don’t worry though — it will be rolling through our area early in July before it parks itself in Philadelphia for July 4th.
