Election officials in Erie County say nearly 1,500 voters cast their ballot during the first weekend of early voting.
According to the Erie County Board of Elections, 682 ballots were cast on Sunday after more than 800 voters came out to vote on Saturday.
The county released two-day total by ballot style for the major local primaries:
Officials say some voters are eligible to take part in more than one contest because they reside in overlapping districts.
Other races include the Democratic primary for state Comptroller and Democratic, Republican and Conservative county committee contests in the city of Buffalo, town of Amherst and the town of Grand Island.
Early voting continues Monday across Western New York and ends Sunday, June 21.
It leads up to Primary Day which is on June 23.
