BETHLEHEM, N.H. — Super Secret Ice Cream is nominated for a James Beard Award in the outstanding bakery category.
The scoop shop prides itself on small batches and locally sourced ingredients. It is located on Main Street in Bethlehem, but the reputation of the business has traveled across the state, including to lawmakers at the state capital.
“Of course it doesn’t hurt that it is right here in the heart of the White Mountain and the most unbelievable views and incredible nature,” said Karen Liot Hill, a member of the New Hampshire Executive Council. “We are fortunate to live in some of the most beautiful country in the world and we also happen to have some of the best ice cream in the world.”
The ice cream shop has been nominated before. This year’s James Beard winners will be announced June 15.
