Dreams 2 Destiny football camp launches in Erie
A new youth football camp in Erie is aiming to do more than teach the game.
The Dreams 2 Destiny football camp is set to welcome students in third grade through sixth grade.
EMTA celebrates 14th Fest, 60 years of service
The free three-day program will serve 150 students and focus on both athletic and personal growth.
Organizers said while football is the platform, the program also includes literacy enrichment, leadership development, character building and youth empowerment activities.
Corryfest brings family fun back for 2026
“Also, to give them a pathway to get to where they ultimately can be. There is a destiny for every young person here in the city of Erie, and we wanna help forge that path for them. We wanna walk with them, make that happen,” said Darrell Cook, a pastor with the Second Baptist Church.
Community leaders, coaches and youth participants gathered at Second Baptist Church to announce the initiative, which organizers said was designed to create pathways for success in Erie’s youth.
