The Crushers were swept for the first time this season, dropping a 7-3 decision to host Windy City in the third game of their weekend series June 14.
Lake Erie (14-19) trailed by five runs after two innings and didn’t register a hit until the fifth inning. They scored two runs in the fifth via a bases-loaded hit by pitch and a bases-loaded walk.
Pavin Parks drove in the Crushers’ other run with a double in the seventh inning.
The Crushers are off June 15. They begin a six-game homestand June 16 against Evansville.
