A state police fire marshal ruled the cause of a structure fire that occurred Saturday evening in the Midvalley as accidental.
Crews responded to 323 Mooney St. in Olyphant around 6:35 p.m. after the tenant discovered the fire in the ceiling and called 911, state police at Dunmore said.
Investigators determined a fire in the dryer ventilation tube for the apartment resulted from a buildup of lint in the tube and caused minor damage to the roof, state police said.
