A shooting at Wilmington Hospital is under investigation Tuesday, police said.
The shooting happened at the hospital located on the 500 block of West 14th Street, according to police. Chopper 3 was over the scene, where a large police presence could be seen.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting or if anyone was shot.
A spokesperson for ChristianaCare said the hospital is currently on lockdown, and the emergency department is on divert.
“We are working closely with law enforcement and taking all appropriate steps to ensure the safety of our patients, caregivers and visitors,” the spokesperson said in part.
