A 14-year-old was shot on the southbound SEPTA platform of the Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore SEPTA station on Saturday night, police said.
The station is on Temple University’s campus, and the university issued an emergency alert telling people to avoid the area on Saturday night just before 9 p.m.

The teen is listed in stable condition and is at the hospital for a gunshot wound to the hip area, police said.
No word on any arrests at this time, but NBC10 is at the scene working to learn more.
