EASTON, Pa. — The Northampton County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who went missing in the Delaware River on Sunday.
The man was identified as 45-year-old Brian King of Palmer Township, according to the coroner’s office.
King had been fishing while standing in the river and was swept away by the current, the coroner’s office said.
His body was recovered a few hours later.
The coroner says his cause of death was determined to be drowning, and the manner of death was ruled an accident.
