All Saints Orthodox Church in Olyphant celebrated Easter on April 12. The Orthodox churches of America, including All Saints, observed Easter one week later than the Catholic church. As tradition, parishioners have their Easter baskets blessed on Easter Sunday after the Divine Liturgy. The Rev. Paul Witek, pastor, individually blesses families’ baskets with holy water.
