After a heated exchange at Erie City Council’s last meeting, many have spoken out against the behavior of Councilman Ed Brzezinski, who seemingly purposefully misgendered Council President Tyler Titus.

During the exchange, Brzezinski referred to Dr. Titus — who is openly transgender and goes by they/them pronouns — as ma’am.
