Staff with the National Parks Service replace the plaques that were part of the ‘Freedom and Slavery in the Making of a New Nation’ exhibit at the President’s house on February 19, 2026 in Philadelphia. On January 22nd the exhibit was removed as part of the Trump administration’s policies, and on President’s day U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe ordered the exhibit’s restoration.
