OBITUARY
Thomas J. Osborne Jr., 69, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was happily married for 47 years to his loving wife Mary Jean (McCrea) Osborne.
Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late Thomas J. Sr. and Anne (Manley) Osborne. Tom was a graduate of Bishop Klonowski High School, class of 1974 and was a faithful member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena Church in Allentown. Through countless health battles, he faced every challenge with remarkable strength, resilience, and an unwavering sense of humor. He was never at a loss for words, happiest when sitting on his porch, often turning a stranger into a friend and silence into a conversation. Above all, his world revolved around his wife, daughters, grandkids, siblings, and many nieces and nephews who loved him. His family takes comfort in knowing that he’s looking down with a smile – and still holding out hope for the Dallas Cowboys.
Surviving with his wife Mary Jean are their loving children: Jennifer Osborne, Kathleen Foschia (husband Robert), and Meghan Osborne. Brothers: Terry (Debbie), Timothy (Camille), and Robert Osborne. Sisters: Patricia Hannon (Joseph), Agnes Holland (Tim), Cathy Harrington (Jack) and Jane Osborne. Grandchildren: Fynn, Riley, Caleb, Murphy, Callahan, Bennett, Harrison and one on the way!
Tom was predeceased by his brother Christopher (Dottie) and his sister Nancy Eimers (Dave).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 19, 2026, at 11:00am in Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena. A calling period will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:00-10:50am in the church.
