EASTON, Pa. – An 81-year-old woman is dead after an accident in Easton.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Young Street around 10:17 a.m., according to a news release from the Easton Police Department.
Crews found the woman, who was suffering from serious injuries, police said. She was taken to an area hospital where she died from the injuries, according to city police.

At this time, it appears that the woman was injured while helping a family member who was working on a vehicle that was parked in the area, city police said.
The Easton Police Department, Northampton County Coroner’s Office, and the Northampton County DA’s Office are investigating the incident.
