The Eagles might be on the Bye Week, but the team continues to manage the roster with Tuesday’s trade deadline fast approaching.

On Saturday afternoon, the team announced that it has placed safety Marcus Epps (undisclosed) and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) on Injured Reserve. They will miss at least the next four games.

Epps rejoined the Eagles at the start of the 2025 season after the Patriots released him following the end of Training Camp. Epps started the season on the practice squad and was elevated for the first three games of the season before the Eagles signed him to the active roster on September 24.

In eight games, Epps contributed four tackles in 15 defensive snaps. He also has two special teams tackles in 105 special teams snaps. His most extensive playing time on defense came in the Week 8 win over the Giants.

The Eagles have Reed Blankenship, Sydney Brown, and Andrew Mukuba on the active roster as full-time safeties, with Andre Sam on the practice squad. There are also players like the recently acquired Michael Carter II, who have corner-safety versatility if needed.
