READING, Pa. – The Reading Fightin Phils lost to the Hartford Yard Goats 10-6 on Thursday after having the lead for most of the game.
Connor Capel’s two-run homer and Aroon Escobar’s RBI single provided Reading with an early lead that they would extend in the fifth inning with a Raylin Heredia homerun.
Heredia hit two home runs on Thursday, but the Yard Goats put up eight runs in the final four innings, taking the win out of Reading’s grasp 10-6.
