BETHLEHEM, Pa. – New construction is happening on the land where the Martin Tower once stood in Bethlehem.

Buildings are going up on the 1100 block of Eighth Avenue.

The planning commission approved a revised master plan for the site last year.

It calls for mostly apartment buildings, along with a hotel and two medical offices.

Martin Tower, which was once the global headquarters of Bethlehem Steel, was demolished in 2019.
