Mill Hall, Pa. — Determination, grit, and athletic excellence were on display throughout Centre and Clinton counties in the Ironman 70.3 Pennsylvania.
The event began on Sun., June 14 with a 1.2-mile open-water swim loop in the Foster Sayers Reservoir at Bald Eagle State Park, featuring a beach start and finish.
From there, athletes transitioned to the 56-mile cycling course that wound through Central Pennsylvania’s picturesque countryside, including a key stretch through the Mill Hall community.
Residents and spectators in the borough lined the route, cheering on competitors as they pedaled past — providing encouragement and enthusiasm that exemplified the area’s strong community spirit.
The race concluded with a dynamic 13.1-mile run through the campus of Penn State University, giving athletes one final challenge and an opportunity to gauge their position against fellow competitors.
The Ironman 70.3 Pennsylvania continues to bring athletes and supporters together from across the region and beyond, showcasing the beauty of local communities and the resilience of those who dare to compete.
