Crews pull person from river in Easton after hour-long search | Easton Area

EASTON, Pa. – Crews were on the water in Easton on Sunday searching for a missing swimmer. 

Northampton County Communications says a call came in at 4:41 p.m. for a reported drowning in the Lehigh River near the 100 block of Larry Holmes Drive.

After nearly an hour of searching, crews pulled the person from the water at 5:39 p.m..

The person was then brought to shore and placed on a stretcher. 

At this point, officials have not released information about the person’s condition or what led up to the incident.
