BETHLEHEM, Pa. – With President Donald Trump set to visit Mack Trucks in Lower Macungie Township on Tuesday, drivers in the Lehigh Valley and Berks County need to prepare for how the presidential visit will impact the roads.
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Bethlehem said the public should anticipate traffic disruptions on Tuesday, particularly throughout both Berks and Lehigh counties.
They said there will likely be traffic delays and intermittent road closures throughout the day, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the following areas:
State Route 222, both northbound and southbound in Lehigh and Berks counties.
Route 183 North and South, between Reading Regional Airport and Route 222.
State Route 100, both northbound and southbound in Lehigh County.
This will be his first trip to our area since his stop in the Poconos in December.
Authorities say it is expected that these traffic disruptions will cause secondary roads throughout the region to also be impacted.

Trump is set to speak at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
