Tuesday, June 23, 2026, marks Day 5 of the Wawa Welcome America festivities.
Tuesday’s events include free admission to Christ Church Preservation Trust, Wyck Historic House, Garden and Farm, and the United States Mint. The Philadelphia Film Society will also be offering free film screenings. Read more information on the three museums and the screenings below:
Free Museum Days: Christ Church Preservation Trust
When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Christ Church, 20 N American St, Philadelphia, PA 19106
About: Christ Church is the birthplace of the American Episcopal Church, founded in 1695 as a condition of William Penn’s Charter. The Church hosted members of the Continental Congress during the American Revolution, and its early members included Benjamin and Deborah Franklin, and Betsy Ross. Guests can take a self-guided tour exploring the history of the building, and then cross the street to visit the Christ Church Neighborhood House.
Free Museum Days: Wyck Historic House, Garden & Farm
When: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Wyck Historic House, Garden and Farm, 6026 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19144
About: Known as one of Philadelphia’s oldest houses, the history of the land dates back to 1690. The building, as it exists today, was renovated by renowned Philadelphia architect William Strickland in 1824. Visitors can see a special exhibition featuring family objects dating back to the Revolution, only available during the Summer of 2026.
Free Museum Day: United States Mint
When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: United States Mint, 151 N Independence Mall E, Philadelphia, PA 19106
About: The United States Mint manufactures and distributes collectible coins, national medals, and provides security over American assets. Guests can partake in a tour, seeing the pressing of Semiquincentennial coins, including Declaration of Independence quarters, being struck from 40 feet above the factory floor.

Free Movie Days
When: Days of Heaven (1978) (in 4K) at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

About: The Philadelphia Film Society is offering two-weeks of free movie screenings by and about Philadelphia. All films will be showing at the Main Screen at the Center.
