LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Motorists traveling on Interstate 380 in Lackawanna County should expect lane restrictions and closures later this week as PennDOT crews perform bridge, shoulder and joint repairs.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, work is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25, between the Daleville/Moscow interchange (Exit 19) and the Gouldsboro interchange (Exit 13).
The repairs will require alternating closures and restrictions of both driving and passing lanes on Interstate 380 southbound from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
PennDOT said the work is part of ongoing maintenance efforts to improve roadway conditions and infrastructure along the corridor.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, remain alert for changing traffic patterns and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
All work is weather dependent and may be postponed or rescheduled if conditions warrant.
