WHERE FIREARMS ARE ALREADY PROHIBITED BY LAW. THE BILL WOULD INCLUDE SOME EXCEPTIONS, INCLUDING SCHOOL PROPERTY, CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES AND CERTAIN SITES TIED TO NATIONAL DEFENSE, AEROSPACE, DOMESTIC SECURITY AND EVEN EXPLOSIVES RELATED SPACES. KAUFMAN SAYS THE MEASURE IS MEANT TO PROTECT THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS UNDER PENNSYLVANIA’S CONSTITUTION, AND SIMILAR

Rob Kauffman’s proposal would prohibit employers and other property owners from punishing, denying entry to, or discriminating against individuals for legally storing a firearm in their car.
