OBITUARY
Jason J. Powell, 45, of New York City, died Thursday, June 18th, unexpectedly at home.
Born in Scranton, he is the son of Donna Orlowski, Olyphant and the late Robert Powell Jr.
Jason was a graduate of Mid Valley High School, Class of 1999 and the University of Scranton where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Marketing. He was employed at Whalar Agency in New York City.
He was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed, especially by his dogs, Millie, Duncan and Sugar Bear.
Also surviving are his brothers, Robert Powell and wife Christine, FL and Vincent Orlowski and wife Nicole, Olyphant; his nieces and nephews, Sabrina and RJ Powell, Vincent IV and Madison Orlowski and; great- nephew Mason Powell; step- nephew Eric Hartshorn Jr.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his step father, Vincent Orlowski Jr., his maternal grandparents, John and Carmella Gillar and paternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Powell.
