Erie Fitness Now is set to expand the local fitness landscape with the launch of the EFN Training Club, a new 5,000-square-foot facility designed to bring together modern training approaches under one roof.
The Training Club, developed by Erie fitness entrepreneurs Matt and Anthony Pribonic, represents more than two years of planning and research, along with 60 days of intensive construction, equipment installation, and technology integration. The goal, according to Matt Pribonic, was to create something more comprehensive than a traditional gym.
The facility will blend a wide range of fitness methodologies, including traditional strength training, functional fitness, CrossFit-inspired workouts, HYROX-style conditioning, endurance training, recovery therapies, and the growing trend of hybrid training.
The space will be equipped with high-end equipment from leading brands such as Nike Strength, Rogue Fitness, Woodway, Concept2, REP Fitness, Titan Fitness, and Freak Athlete. Features include Olympic lifting platforms, functional training zones, turf lanes, Woodway performance treadmills, Concept2 rowers and SkiErgs, and a variety of conditioning and strength tools like kettlebells, battle ropes, and wall balls.
In addition to training equipment, the facility emphasizes recovery and wellness, offering tools such as Hyperice percussion devices, foam rollers, and mobility equipment, as well as dedicated cold-water therapy and cold plunge areas. Private restrooms and changing areas will be available for members.
The facility will incorporate modern access technology, allowing members to enter using their smartphones through a mobile-enabled system, eliminating the need for traditional front-desk check-ins.
Membership will be $49.99 per month and is geared toward individuals looking for a higher-level fitness experience, from serious athletes to active adults.
The EFN Training Club is scheduled to officially open on July 11 and is expected to attract athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a modern, all-in-one approach to training.
