Ok, where are my tissues? I am so excited to see this show. The book is great. The movie is the kind you watch over and over. The Notebook musical? Can’t. Wait. This is one to take your mom. Your date. Your sisters. Everyone.
The classic love story has been put to music. All of those emotions that we feel while watching the movie are just going to be amplified with the help of song, and I’m ok with it. I am all in. Not just any music. Music and lyrics for this show are by multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson. We’ve got a little over 3 weeks to add the soundtrack to our Spotify playlists (if it’s not there already) and be ready for the tour to hit Philly. This is the first time The Notebook musical is here in Philadelphia, so it will be a first for many of us. The first National Tour, and they’ll be here in a few very short weeks.
