The University of Scranton’s Mathematics Department hosted the annual Math Integration Bee with 90 competitors from 16 high schools throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. The competition helps high school students improve their skills for Advanced Placement mathematics tests. Elijah Serota, of Wyoming Valley West High School, won the competition with four other finalists being selected. Those finalists were Natalie Barry, Martin Chen and John Masteller, all of Central Columbia High School; and Cayden Liu, of Southern Lehigh High School.
