A suspect was fatally shot by a police officer whom he stabbed while officers were responding to a domestic disturbance in Indiana Borough, investigators said Monday.Indiana police said officers responded to a home on North Cherry Avenue around 7 p.m. Sunday for a woman calling about her male partner.”The guy from the house next door, he comes running right through here, and the officer was in hot pursuit after him. I stood up, and I was like, what the heck is going on?” said Tina Broussard, who lives nearby. “I was scared because I didn’t know what was going on. I knew the guy from next door.”Pennsylvania State Police, who are investigating the incident, confirmed that the suspect was killed. At some point, he brandished a shovel, threatened one of their officers with a shovel, and a foot pursuit ensued following that,” Trooper Cliff Greenfield said Monday. “The officer gave chase, eventually caught up with the suspect.
