Dunmore scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally past West Scranton, 10-9, in a District 17 Majors Baseball game Monday at North Pocono.

Winning pitcher Jacob Polishan had two hits, including a double, and one RBI, Luciano Cintron had a double, a triple and two RBIs and Max Foley, Kevin Kapmeyer and Carter Bantell each had a hit and an RBI for Dunmore.

KJ Abram had two hits and two RBIs, Connor Kinney had two hits and one RBI, Luke Collins had a double and two RBIs, Cullen Kopa had one hit and one RBI and Jack Schalk, Garren Connor, Darian Marte and Derek Uribe each added a hit for West Scranton.

North Pocono 5, North/East/Connell 0: At North Pocono, winning pitcher Ben Carr combined with Antonio Pellegrino and Bo West for a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts to lead North Pocono.

James Walsh and Elijah Snyder each had two hits, Jason Sheehan, Dante DiAndriola and Carr each added a hit and West tacked on two RBIs for the winners.

Chris Kulick and Daniel Kohut had North/East/Connell’s hits.

District 32 Majors Baseball

At Lakeland, Scott Twp., Ben Valerio had two hits and three runs, and Gabe Ryner had two hits to lead Wallenpaupack to an 8-3 victory over Carbondale in a District 32 Majors Baseball game.

Bowen Kuhn and Jeffery Wentzell each added two runs for Wallenpaupack.

Krimsyn Kohler, Liam McGraw and Anthony Imperiale each had two hits, with Imperiale hitting a two-run homer, for Carbondale.

Wayne Highlands 14, Lakeland 0: At Lakeland, Scott Twp., Colt Cousins and Andrew Jos each had two hits, and Jackson Latourette had three runs to lead Wayne Highlands.

Weston Dilts and Jack Steger had Lakeland’s hits.

District 32 9-10-11 Baseball

Winning pitcher Mike Meyers struck out seven, and added a triple and two RBIs to lead Green Ridge to a 10-0 victory over Wallenpaupack in Game 1 of the District 32 9-10-11 Baseball championship series Monday at Green Ridge.

Patrick Tunney had two hits, and Jordan Vescovi tacked on two RBIs for the winners.

Game 2 will be Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Green Ridge.

District 17 9-10-11 Baseball

At Dunmore, Nathan Kane had two hits and two RBIs to lead Connell/East/Jefferson to a 5-4 victory over Moosic in a District 17 9-10-11 Baseball game.

Aali Muhammad had a hit and two runs for Connell/East/Jefferson, Ben Hunter was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts and Jaxsen Masker locked down the save.

Mitchell Linch had two hits and an RBI for Moosic.

North Pocono11, Dunmore 0: At Dunmore, August Nealon, Nico Bowers and Emmet Bryon each had two hits to lead North Pocono.

Joseph Tomcykoski, Dominic Trubiano and Emmet Bryon each had two RBIs for North Pocono.

Tomcykoski was the winning pitcher, striking out six, and Trubiano got the save, striking out four.

Sawyer Dunda had Dunmore’s lone hit.

District 17 Minors Softball

At Old Forge, Alyssa Dominick had two hits, one RBI and two runs, Adeline Renzi had two hits and three runs and Jilibel Destefano had two hits and two runs to lead Old Forge to a 17-2, four-inning victory over North Pocono/Jefferson in a District 17 Minors Softball game.

Sydney Kishel had a double, four RBIs and a run, and Liza Pecuch had a double, three RBIs and a run, Olivia Scarnato had a hit, two RBIs and a run and pitched two shutout innings with no hits and six strikeouts and Charlotte Insalaco had a double and a run for the winners.

Carmela Bilotta had a triple and two RBIs, and Liliana Pellegrino had a hit and a run for North Pocono/Jefferson.
