BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Police tape surrounded a home on the 700 block of Redfern Lane in Bethlehem Saturday.
It is where authorities said two adults were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds.
Police responded to the home around 9:45 a.m. for a welfare check, according to investigators.
Forensic Services and Crime Scene Unit vans could be seen parked out front.
Officers walked in and out of the home, some carrying bags in a crate labeled as evidence.
Neighbors who did not want to go on camera are calling it “A sad day on Redfern Lane.”
The Northampton County Coroner said he spoke with the District Attorney and that it is an ongoing investigation.
Police cleared the scene later in the afternoon.
The coroner and police said there is no threat to the public.
The identities of the two adults and details of what may have led up to this have not yet been released.
