The Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Scranton/Wilkes-Barre returns to PNC Field in Moosic on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Opening Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. and the walk at 10:30 a.m.
This annual community event brings together participants, families, caregivers and supporters to raise awareness and funds for the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Walkers unite in support of the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to advance care, support and research for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Funds raised through the event help support programs and services for individuals and families while also advancing critical research efforts. The Alzheimer’s Association is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
