STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. (WETM) — A Corning man was arrested on Friday as a fugitive from justice after deputies said they received a warrant for his arrest out of Pennsylvania.
Michael A. Trussell, 34, was arrested on Friday, June 26, as a fugitive from justice out of Pennsylvania, as stated in a release from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Trussell had an active warrant for a strangulation charge in Pennsylvania. Further, deputies said Trussell was wanted for failing to appear for the charge of strangulation.
As a result, Trussell was arrested and processed as a fugitive from justice, deputies said. He was then sent to the Steuben County Jail without bail to await extradition to Pennsylvania.
