As America’s birthplace marks its 250th birthday, Philadelphia is ready to light up the sky for a Fourth of July fireworks celebration.

Benjamin Franklin Parkway
Philadelphia’s Wawa Welcome America fireworks display is the grand finale to its 4th festivities. Set against the backdrop of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the iconic Parkway, the show creates a breathtaking red, white and blue tribute to America’s history, culture and spirit.
Marking the nation’s 250th birthday, the ceremony will feature a performance by Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Yolanda Adams, appearances by civic leaders, and tributes honoring the country’s milestone anniversary.
Loews Philadelphia Hotel
Visitors and locals looking to view some Fourth fireworks are in luck—the Loews Philadelphia Hotel’s Red, White & Views Independence Day Firework Viewing Party will be in full swing on Saturday. Set on the hotel’s 33rd floor, the evening will feature live music, festive décor, summer fare, carving stations, and a complimentary beer and wine open bar, with spirits and cocktails available for purchase (including new Alchemy by Loews Hotels creations). Tickets (via Resy) are $200 per person for guests ages 21 and over, $75 for guests 20 and under, and children 6 and under attend free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

City Cruises
Anyone can nab a front-row seat to the Camden waterfront fireworks display when they book a ticket aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia on City Cruises’ 4th of July Dinner Cruise. Departing from Penn’s Landing, this special evening sail offers views of the city skyline, historic landmarks and the fireworks alongside a chef-curated buffet, games, temperature-controlled cabins, a live DJ, and plenty of room to dance. Boarding begins at 6:30 p.m.; the cruise will run from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets start at $274.

New Hope-Lambertville America 250 Festival
Taking place July 3-5, festivities kick off Friday with the largest fireworks and drone show in New Hope history, featuring two fireworks barges, 200 drones, and a synchronized patriotic soundtrack over the Delaware River.
Saturday’s 250th birthday celebration here, on the other hand, will include a Revolutionary-era pub crawl led by historical reenactors, followed by a ticketed concert featuring local talent and tribute bands. The weekend concludes Sunday with the Freedom Parade, an America-versus-Great Britain dragon boat race, Declaration of Independence readings, and a “God Bless America” performance with church bells ringing across both river towns.
Many events throughout the weekend are free and family-friendly, with additional ticketed experiences including the pub crawl and concert. Visitors can also expect local businesses in New Hope and Lambertville to join the celebration with themed decorations, food specials, drinks, and special promotions.
