Passengers who did so said the process was simple. “We signed up in advance for the terminal parking. Just drive up. It was easy,” said Roger Virgil of Franklin. Once inside, travelers were met with little to no wait at TSA. The longest line in the morning was just six minutes. “So normally, I get here late. So, I felt like it was quick. There wasn’t too many people whenever we first pulled in or anything,” said Gisella Schifano of Morgantown, West Virginia. “I expected it to be busier than it usually is at this time, but this early, it’s pretty good,” Virgil said. Despite the smooth experience, airport officials are urging travelers to give themselves plenty of time at the airport. They recommend arriving two hours early and ensuring all travel documents, such as a REAL ID or passport, are ready.
