Bus trip: AARP Scranton Chapter 3731 will host a bus trip to Resort Casino, Atlantic City, N.J., on Sept. 16. Try your luck at the casinos, stroll the Boardwalk, visit the beach or take in the attractions like the Steel Pier Amusement Park, Tanger Outlets, the Aquarium and endless dining options. Cost is $65/person with an $18 player rebate. Trip is open to the public. Tinnitus support group: The Tinnitus Support Group of Northeast Pennsylvania will meet July 10 at 2 p.m. at the Wright Center for Community Health Mid Valley, 5 S. Washington Ave., Jermyn. A virtual attendance option will be available for those unable to participate in person. The support group welcomes individuals living with tinnitus, their family members and friends, and anyone interested in learning more about this complex audiological and neurological condition. Featured presenter Lisa Rigau will discuss how mindfulness and lifestyle medicine can help manage stress and enhance overall well-being. Rigau is a registered nurse, nutrition counselor and community educator who specializes in health, wellness, mindfulness and nutrition.
