YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A central Pennsylvania man was sending sexual messages to an undercover state Attorney General’s Office agent posing as a 14-year-old girl, according to court documents.

Court records show, felony charges of unlawful contact with a minor, criminal solicitation and criminal use of a communication facility were filed Wednesday against 22-year-old Innocent Okyerefo.

Okyerefo, of York, was taken into custody just before 10 p.m. Wednesday when he showed up at the place he was supposed to meet the “girl,” according to a criminal complaint.

He was then taken to the Carroll Township Police Department, where he was questioned. Okyerefo allegedly admitted he knew he was talking about exchanging sex for money with a minor, investigators said.

Okyerefo was taken to York County Prison, where he remains, with his bail set at $150,000 after he was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Adrian Boxley Sr., court records show.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 16.
