FIFA World Cup watch parties in Reading begin Friday | Southern Berks County

READING, Pa. – Lots of soccer fans are expected at Santander Arena this weekend.

On Friday and Saturday, Reading will host the first two FIFA World Cup Fan Zone parties.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 11 a.m. Friday.

The parties will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

World Cup games will play on screens and there will be food, activities and live music.

“Go Go Gadjet” performs Friday, and “Main Squeeze” plays on Saturday.
