A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Exeter Township sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million in Saturday’s drawing.
The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 2-26-43-44-62, to win $1 million. However, it failed to match the red Powerball 22.
Officials said Giant Food Stores, 4655 Perkiomen Ave., will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners are unknown until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.
Players should visit palottery.com for more information about filing a claim.
