Pittsburgh Police are investigating a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Homewood North neighborhood Saturday.Police say that around 2:30 a.m., Pittsburgh police, fire and emergency medical services responded to a one-round ShotSpotter alert on the 7100 block of Mount Vernon Street. When officers arrived at that scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. They immediately began providing aid until medics arrived. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition by Pittsburgh EMS. Pittsburgh police Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. There have been no arrests at this time.
