On July 5 at around 12:30 a.m., Aliquippa police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Linmar Terrace following multiple reports of shots fired. While officers were responding, Beaver County 911 said people on the scene had sustained gunshot wounds.Officers arrived on scene and found four people suffering from gunshot wounds. They immediately provided emergency medical aid, including the application of tourniquets, until Aliquippa fire and EMS personnel arrived. All four victims were taken to local hospitals.The suspect(s) fled the area before officers’ arrival. Officers searched the surrounding area with negative results.Due to the nature of this incident, the Aliquippa Police Department requested the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police, which is taking the lead role in the investigation.Anyone with information regarding this shooting is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police, Beaver Barracks, at 724-773-7400.
