THEY WERE DELAYED ON THEIR DRIVE BACK TO THEIR HOUSE SATURDAY NIGHT BECAUSE OF ROAD CLOSURES FROM THE STORM. AND THEN ONCE THEY DID GET HOME, THEY FOUND THEIR CAR LIKE THIS UNDER A TREE. WE WERE ABLE TO TALK WITH LYNN AND BILL DAWSON ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED. THERE WERE NO LIGHTS ON IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, AND THE TREES DIDN’T NOTICE THAT. WE DIDN’T NOTICE THAT RIGHT AWAY. BUT WE SAW OUR NEIGHBOR’S TREE WAS DOWN ACROSS OUR DRIVEWAY AND ACROSS MY HUSBAND’S CAR IN THE BACK. SO ANYWAY, IT WAS DARK THOUGH, SO IT WAS KIND OF HARD TO ASSESS EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS LIKE, BUT THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD WAS REALLY HIT HARD.
