OBITUARY
Donald E. (Don) Cherry, 91, of Reading PA and Summerfield FL, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown PA.
Born August 4, 1934 in Philadelphia PA to Albert D. Cherry and Leona (Brubaker) Cherry, Don was a graduate of West Reading high school and West Chester State College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He later obtained his securities licenses and retired from Wheat First Securities/Wells Fargo where he was a Vice President. In Don’s free time, he was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and loved traveling and taking cruises with his late wife Lois.
Surviving are his two daughters, Susan L. Cahill of Hermitage PA and Linda A. Holland of Minneapolis MN, and a son, Randall A. Cherry of Reading PA, two stepdaughters, Janice Kingkinger of Reading PA and Lynn Folk of Bernville PA, five grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Brian, Ryan and Rebecca, three step-grandchildren, Wesley, Jenna and Devin, and five great-grandchildren.
