Police say a 29-year-old man has been hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed in an incident that happened in Philly’s East Falls section early Tuesday.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at about 3:53 a.m. on Tuesday, at an apartment complex along the 3200 block of McMichael Street in East Falls.
At that time, first responders found a 29-year-old man suffering from stab wounds, police said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where, officials said, he was placed in critical condition.
At the home, police said, a 22-year-old woman was taken into custody and charges against this woman are pending.
However, police did not immediately detail a motive for this attack.
But, officials said an investigation is ongoing.
Woman stabbed in West Oak Lane, police say
Also overnight, police say, officers responded to a home in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane section after a woman was stabbed.
In this incident, officials said, first responders found a 26-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds along the 7200 block of North 21st Street at about 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where, police said, she was listed in stable condition.
However, police did not immediately provide further details on this incident and did not say if any arrests had been made following this attack.
But, an investigation into this incident is ongoing, as well, police said.
