VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Police in the region are investigating three unrelated incidents, according to recent police reports and court records.
Harassment Case in Hickory Township
According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville, a 30-year-old Erie man was accused in a harassment investigation that occurred at approximately 2:04 p.m. on July 7 at West Forest School in Hickory Township, Forest County.
Troopers said the man arrived at the school attempting to retrieve personal belongings from one victim. Police said he refused to leave the property after being directed to do so multiple times by the superintendent. Before police arrived, the man left the scene and later allegedly sent a text message to another victim, and was warned not to contact her.
Three females, two from Pleasantville and one from Youngsville, were listed as the victims.
Tionesta Man Charged After Traffic Stop
PSP Punxsutawney reported that a 46-year-old Tionesta man was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at approximately 10:13 a.m. on June 30 along the 16400 block of Route 62 in Limestone Township, Warren County.
According to police, the man, who was driving a 2000 Cadillac, was stopped for a summary traffic violation and was determined to be under the influence. Charges are pending.
Oil City Police File Disorderly Conduct Charges
In Venango County, court records show that Jeremiah Robert Haugh, 49, of Oil City, was charged by Oil City Police with disorderly conduct on July 7.
The non-traffic citation alleges disorderly conduct involving obscene language or gestures. The charge was filed through Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office following an alleged incident on July 5 in Oil City.
