Fair and festival season is underway, and the sights, sounds and flavors of Greece will be on full display at one of Erie’s most popular summer traditions.
Each year, the Greek Festival draws thousands of visitors from across the region to experience authentic Greek culture through traditional cuisine, live entertainment and community fellowship.
Guests can enjoy a variety of Greek favorites, along with live music, traditional dancing and cultural activities throughout the day. Organizers say the festival has become one of the church’s largest and most anticipated community events of the year.
While the festival is known for its food and entertainment, it also serves an important purpose. Proceeds from the event help support the ministries and operations of the church.
The festival is being held at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church on West Lake Road and runs until 10 p.m.
