• Zion’s Lutheran Church, 354 Zion Church Road, Perry Township, is celebrating Christmas in July by collecting items and filling purses for “The Purse Project 2026” to support an outreach program through From the Heart Consignment Shop. Deadline for donations is Aug. 2. Worship is held at 9 a.m.
• Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Hereford Township, will celebrate America’s 250th birthday on Sunday with a worship service in the park with the Wyomissing Band at 10:30. Stay after the service to enjoy patriotic music and a light hot dog lunch for a donation, plus an ice cream truck with a variety of treats to purchase. There also will be lawn games and crafts. Bring your own lawn chairs. No animals other than service animals. Vacation Bible school will be held Monday-Friday from 6-8 p.m. The theme is “Snowball Mountain Challenge.” All children ages 3-11 are welcome. • Supply pastor the Rev. Homer Royer will lead the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County. Coffee and Conversation will be held at 8:30 and 10 in the Welcome Center.

• Friedens United Church of Christ, 337 Main St., Oley, will have the Rev. Paul Jones as supply pastor during the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday. Karen Eddinger will be the guest musician.
• Ariel Metzger will be the pianist/organist at the 10:15 a.m. worship service on Sunday at United Church of Christ of Robesonia, 301 W. Penn Ave. The handbells will ring the prelude. In honor of America’s 250th birthday, there will be a lunch after the service followed by activities related to the United States. The Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be at the church on Tuesday from 2-7 p.m.
• The Rev. Barry Spatz will be the guest pastor for the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Salem Lutheran Church, 8410 Lancaster Ave., Bethel Township.
