Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Lacertoso, Dunmore, recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married July 7, 1956, in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dunmore, by Monsignor William A Crotti.
Mrs. Lacertoso is the former Angeline Telesco, daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Telesco. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Gertrude Hawk Chocolates.
Mr. Lacertoso is the son of the late Anthony and Philomena Lacertoso. He served his country during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he was employed at Tobyhanna Army Depot.
The couple has three children, Anthony Lacertoso Jr., Dunmore; Mary Ann Mooney, Harrisburg; and Donna Kashmer, Dunmore. They also have five grandchildren, Stephanie Stone, Daniel Mooney, Gregory Mooney, Cameron Kashmer and Anthony Kashmer; and four great-grandchildren, Lila and Colin Mooney, and Kalena and Kayzlie Stone.
The couple marked the occasion with a family dinner.
