Lower Merion Township, PA (July 12, 2026) – Three people were killed on Saturday morning, July 11, after a wrong-way driver caused a head-on collision involving multiple vehicles on westbound I76 near mile marker 330 in Lower Merion Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Authorities said a pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction entered the roadway and collided with two other vehicles. Troopers had attempted to stop the vehicle before the crash occurred, but the driver continued traveling at a high rate of speed.
The identities of the victims have not been released as authorities work to notify their families.
The crash remains under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
