ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A man is dead after his scooter and another vehicle collided over the weekend.
Ottis G. Petro, 35, of Allentown, was pronounced dead on Saturday at 6:31 p.m. at a local hospital, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said in a news release.
Buglio said the cause of death is blunt force injuries due to the crash, and the manner of death was ruled an accident.
The incident happened on Saturday around 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of North 7th Street and West Liberty Street in Allentown, according to Buglio.
In addition to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center, the Allentown Police Department and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are conducting the ongoing investigation.
