The Lehigh County coroner on Monday identified two people who died after crashes last week.
Christopher A. Pryer, 31, died Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg from blunt force trauma after being hit by a vehicle in the 2400 block of Linden Street, Bethlehem, shortly after 4 a.m. Thursday, Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said. His death was ruled an accident.
Police on Friday said they are trying to determine the circumstances of that incident, and believe Pryer may have already been lying in the road when the vehicle hit him.
Ottis G. Petro, 35, of Allentown was pronounced dead at 6:31 p.m. Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Police say Petro was riding a scooter that was involved in a collision with a vehicle around 5:20 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of North Seventh and West Liberty streets in Allentown.
Pertro died from blunt force trauma and his death was ruled an accident, Buglio said in a statement.
Both deaths remain under investigation.
